I listened to the many well-intentioned adults in my young adult life who encouraged me to get an education to "fall back on".  As a result, I now enjoy a meaningful career in the Learning and Development/Talent Development space, but the thing I was most passionate about took a back seat.  Thanks to a pandemic, I was able to revisit this passion and find a way to bring it into my world.

Starting Assorted Conversations was a labor of love for an old college friend and I.  We worked hard and laughed are asses off as we learned all the new technology.  After a year, she decided to move on to explore her many other passions and I couldn't be happier for her.

I'm curious and I'm inspired by the things folks do with their spare time.  I'm excited to share stories from everyday people doing extraordinary things. We all have a story that has led us to where and who we are now; those stories can help us learn and grow.
