I listened to the many well-intentioned adults in my life who encouraged me to get an education to "fall back on". As a result, I now enjoy a meaningful career in the Learning and Development/Talent Development space, but the thing I was most passionate about took a back seat. Thanks to a pandemic, I was able to revisit this passion and find a way to bring it into my world.
Starting Assorted Conversations was a labor of love for an old college friend and I. We worked hard and laughed are asses off as we learned all the new technology, After a year, she decided to move on to explore her many other passions and I couldn't be happier for her.
I'm curious and I'm inspired by the things folks do with their spare time. I'm excited to share stories from everyday people doing extraordinary things. Everyone has a story that has led us to where and who we are now; those stories can help all of us learn and grow.
